 Season of Change

It's hard to believe where time goes. It seems as we age it goes even faster. So much has happened in the past several years I'm not sure where to begin.  Those of you who have missed me I truly appreciate you. And those of you who have supported me through the pandemic with your contributions, I truly appreciate it.

My last official European tour to visit friends and family was in the fall of 2019. I went to London, Milan, and returned home. I anticipated traveling to France as well, but I had a lingering pain in my right hip that would not go away. I had severe degenerative osteoarthritis in my hip. It really just crept up on me and I had no idea the kind of pain I would endure before the surgery. I am not one to take painkillers or medicine to mask any type of pain I am having. I had a PRP (platelet rich plasma) injections in the summer of 2019.  I went out of pocket for this medical procedure and it was very expensive, and only helped marginally. I decided I would move forward with a total hip replacement surgery in December 2019.  It is natural to want to know the cause of something like this, however, I can only point to my athletic career as a volleyball player early in life and during my college and military years as well as being an elite strength athlete for several years.  With so much repetition in certain exercises with not only body weight but with massive amounts of weight, overtime, something has got to give, and it usually does. In my case, it was my hip. Fortunately, although x-ray show I have some degeneration in my left hip it is not anywhere near the problem I had in my right hip.

Upon returning home from my tour in late November 2019, I prepared for my surgery. All in all, it went very well and the pain was completely gone upon completion of the surgery. Obviously, the site where they did the incision was sore and I had to learn how to walk again which only took me about two weeks. The rehabilitation went very well and I was back in the gym in no time. I am no stranger to major surgeries, as I have had two ACL repaired on both my right and left knee. With the last surgery being in 2016 for my left ACL, which happened during a production. The first one was in 1996 when I was an American gladiator in Orlando Florida.

During my recovery, we were right in the midst of the onset of Covid – 19. This pandemic affected me financially, socially, and professionally. I completely stopped filming any productions, and had to rely upon the residual income from my productions over the years. I have been actively producing content and traveling for the better part of the past 16 years. I really enjoyed the much-needed break, as I never take vacations, and was a complete workaholic, which takes a toll on one's personal life amongst other things. It is hard for me to admit this because I truly enjoy what I do and I always have. The day I no longer enjoy what I do for a living, is the day I will stop doing it and change.

This leads me to forge onward and upward. I still have a lot of things I would like to accomplish in the industry, and I am inspired, hence, the title of this article, "Season of Change".

Many of us were affected by COVID-19 and know friends and family that were affected by the disease and perhaps may have even died from it. During the pandemic, I discovered that one of my favorite models/actors, Fotios, from Greece, was tragically killed by a drunk driver in his hometown. We built a beautiful relationship over the years and have been filming since 2006, the day we met on the Fourth of July. It broke my heart to discover the news on Facebook. And, when I return from my trip from Europe before my hip surgery, I discovered a close friend of mine, Jason, who was helping me with my technology and website development was tragically killed on his Harley Davidson motorcycle here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Again, it was such a tragic thing for me to find out through Facebook.  Jason and I developed a pretty close friendship and he enjoyed bodybuilding as well. We trained quite a bit in the summer of 2018 before my travels and productions.

During the pandemic, I also lost my two favorite Bengal cats, Zeus, and Cesare.  I was very close to both of them because I got them in 2004 right about the time I started competing in bodybuilding and blossoming into my career. They have seen me through many times, relationships, and homes. You could say they were my best friends. They were both 17 years old when they passed over the rainbow bridge. I truly hope to see them both in the afterlife.

I have a full house of cats once again. I adopted Milos, a Savannah boy, then Luna, a Savannah girl, and Loki, a Bengal boy.  I still have Hercules, a Bengal boy who I adopted after I return from Den Haag, Netherlands, in 2008. I guess you could say I went a little cat crazy but I love my kitties. They keep me busy and entertained and I am a real cat person.

I was actually diagnosed with Covid in early January 2022. It was nothing very serious, and I only had  cold and flu symptoms. I have been vaccinated and boosted.  About the same time I contracted COVID-19, one of my best friends for the past 17 years, Alfred, caught it as well. Alfred and I used to travel to bodybuilding shows and enjoy social events.  Alfred suffered from late stage Parkinson's disease, and he had been falling quite a bit as well as having some other health issues. I visited him during Thanksgiving of 2021. I purchased a ticket to go visit him in Scottsdale, in early February, but as they say, death waits for no one, and I missed out on seeing my best friend one last time. His brother, Bob, told me that it seemed to be a peaceful passing. Al told me several years ago when he visited me here in Albuquerque, New Mexico, that if he had to live with Parkinson's for the rest of his life that he "does not fear death and welcomes it."

If only we could all have such a Zen-like approach to death, which completes the circle of life, I think we could understand life a little bit better. Jason and Fotios were my age and Alfred was 20 years older than myself.  It was incredibly difficult for me losing friends and my fur babies, but this is the nature of life. Once we understand how delicate and temporary life truly is, the better we can understand life and how important it is to embrace, show compassion and kindness, give and receive love, and treat others as we would like to be treated, the better off we are. During the season of change, I realize how important it is to love both tirelessly and fearlessly because there is nothing in between.

In summation, I am training wisely, revitalizing and revamping my website, Goddess of Fetish, producing new content, and I will begin traveling in the USA later this summer and fall as well as Europe. Amber DeLuca Lifts, Carries, and Dominates a French Trapper

Anyone that knows me either personally, or through cyberspace, knows that I have a busy life and schedule with my love and passion for shooting fetish films, devotion to my strength training in order to lift my models and perform unusual feats of strength that very few women can do in the world.  I also have a passion for foreign travel, culinary arts including mixology, and good wine, and the lifelong pursuit of developing deep, long lasting, mutually satisfying relationships with others.  I feel life is too short to live any other way.

In today's fast paced, digitally charged world, it seems we are forever hopelessly hooked and often  preoccupied upon technology.  Despite this digital preoccupation, we must realize how to make technology best serve our needs.  Whether it is meeting others socially, shopping, educational pursuits, keeping up with world events, expressing our thoughts, whether private, political, or sexual, we still have the right of our first amendment constitutional right, "freedom of speech", a right as an American of the USA.  Freedom of speech is the hallmark of a democratic society, and we have fought long and hard battles in our history to preserve this right.

The trend on the Internet and the world we live in, seems to be moving toward restriction of our freedoms, including our constitutional rights and freedoms we formerly enjoyed in a non digital age, such as freedom of speech, and our privacy.  Certain social media platforms will actually prohibit speech or content that does not suit the views of the company, which is a great disservice to the world at large, as we need to expose ourselves to many different views and opinions of others in order to be a "global citizen".

And, my close friends know that I am and have always been a free spirit with unbridled energy to do things my way.  In the spirit of my true persona, I am committed to writing more for myself and doing things as I have always done in my life--my way.  This means I will be blogging more here, and paying a bit less attention to social media.  I casually update my Instagram account about three years ago, and some of you were loyal followers @amberdeluca.  About two weeks ago, for no known reason, my account was suspended--nixed, deleted, suspended for alleged "violation of terms of service", which, at this point, I think is in error and a mistake.  Either that, or I was a victim of the "almighty algorithm", that is AI (artificial intelligence) program that is scanning accounts for the words such as "goddess", "adult", "fetish", or "sex".  All of which I embrace and embody.  I find it a violation of not only my freedom of speech, but of my humanity.

In life, I have often seen some events as being a negative experience.  But as time goes on, something that I think is a terrible event, turns out to be a blessing in disguise.  I always turn something "negative" into a golden opportunity in my life, because it forces me to learn how to adapt to stress, which is, afterall, part of our human experience.  This has happened to me many times in my life, and the event always turned out to work out in my favor.  In this case, the IG account deletion is the perfect opportunity for me to develop a more intimate relationship with you.  I enjoy writing, as it is something I have always enjoyed from a young student, to my college years, up until now, in my productions for my website and at www.Clips4sale.com/store/23925  The following narrative is a description of the climax of my most popular Clip, "Warrior Women",  which has put me squarely into the #1 position in the "Amazons" category for the past two months, which is a difficult feat, as there are many beautiful, muscular Amazons in the world.

You see, not only do I enjoy the physicality of my productions, the primordial and sensual nature of what I do as the "Goddess of Fetish",  and accomplishing the end goal in making fantasy a reality.  I tap into the fact that many men enjoy a powerful, intelligent, sensually dominant woman. And, when I discover the right energy with someone, something magical happens.  I have been inspired by many, and you know who you are.  Many of you have seen the soft, vulnerable, human side of me, and if you are an intimate friend, you know what I am talking about.

In summation, expect to see more of me here, on my own blog, where I can exploit my own talents, strength, and passion in life, and where I am not censored.  I appreciate your support and patronage at my website, www.GoddessofFetish.com and my Clips4sale store where you will find this clip, "Warrior Women", at www.Clips4sale.com/store/23925

It feels good to be back, and connected to you, once again.  Feel free to research my archives, as I started this blog ten years ago--I feel it's never too late to tell stories, and engage with you.  The cinematic quality of "Warrior Women," is one of the highest quality productions I have produced to date.  My cinematographer, Alexander Paul, never fails me, and always amazes me with the end product, no matter how grueling or difficult the process.  When I script something out, he "gets me".  I do not have to explain to him angles, blocking, lighting, and the overall tone or emotion, as we have been filming for six solid years, as well as producing a documentary.  My co-star, Maria Wattell, is a professional bodybuilder, beautiful tall Dutch Amazon, a star in her own right that I wanted to cast in my productions from the moment I met her in 2013.  I knew she had the raw talent that I could develop into an incredible production of the ages.  She is a naturally strong athlete, and I knew she would be able to follow my lead and discover her own strengths as an Amazon, not only in her personal and professional life, and portraying this in "Warrior Women".  She just had to trust the process and remain flexible.

My productions are symbolic of the human condition--our strengths, frailties, fantasies, and primordial sexuality that drive us on a daily basis.  I like to think of myself as a transformational leader in the fine art and psychology of fetish and being a true Goddess.

I hope you will explore my website, this blog, and Clips4sale store.  My main goal in life is to live my best life, embracing my strengths and understanding my human vulnerability, and hope to touch you in a deep way.

Without further ado, here is one of my greatest cinematic works to date:

Warrior Woman, chieftan Amber, "Ponca-sa" tracks down the French fur trapper who has trespassed on her homeland, violating her niece, Fawn.  She must set the example for her younger sister, Mahala, and her nieces, who look to her to be powerful, not only emotionally and spiritually, but physically.  She needs to show them how to handle a man that has violated women and the land. Amber invades the trapper's camp, leaving her mark, the concentric circle represents the circle of life, and looks into her crystal that has magical powers. She will teach this white man to respect the power of native women.  She then hikes up the mountain to the high ground to get a better look at the layout of the land and camp in order to capture him.  The trapper makes it back to his camp, and collects his fur, as he noticed the concentric circle in his camp, on the sand,  and knows he has been marked and being hunted.  He collects his furs, and  runs for his life out of his camp, fearing tribal warriors will capture and harm him.  Amber then waits for him underneath the mountain, waiting for him to pass out of his camp.  He is sprinting away as he does not want to be captured.  Suddenly and unexpectedly, he runs into the brick wall of Amber, as she throws him onto her shoulder, rips his leather breechcloth off, and strangles him with it.  She breast smothers him, and ball busts him, violently stroking his cock, making sure he knows she will do as she pleases with him, licking the sweat off his temple, feeling her wrath, and fearing what she would do next.   After completely dominating him, she cradles him and lifts him onto her shoulder, and takes his member into her mouth, sucking him off in a long blowjob; not permitting him to come.  She stands off with him, baring her breasts, towering over him, flexing her Amazon body; something he has never encountered before.  A tall, strong Amazonian woman with a incredibly large breasts, tanned skin, and a body he has will never forget.  He soon realizes he should not have violated the women of her tribe, or step foot on her land.  He knows deep in his heart that not only did he make a mistake, but that Amber owns him for the rest of his life, and he will have to surrender to her not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually.

Very truly yours,
Amber DeLuca, "The Goddess of Fetish"

Channelling my "inner Goddess", during my competition bodybuilding days.  Little did I know, 15 years ago, when this photo was taken, the path I would take as a leader in Amazon fetish, and empowering men and women globally in accepting, discovering and finally celebrating who they "really are" as human beings.  As we travel in life, we are always discovering who we are, what we enjoy, and celebrating our lives with like minded others who understand and accept who we are in life and the world.  You see, it's really OK to dance to the beat of your own drum once you discover who you really are and accept it.

We live in interesting times, but at the end of the day, we all crave love, acceptance, and finding our own tribe.

I hope I can inspire you to to discover and embrace who you are, and grow in ways that inspire and enable you to be the "best you" and accept the responsibility of your respective roles in life to your family, friends, but most importantly, to yourself.  If you can make yourself happy; you can make others happy and you can truly be a joy to be with, and inspire others.

In closing, I am happy to share with you here, on this blog, my innermost thoughts and intimate experiences without the ridiculous standards of social media parameters/restrictions.

The Evolution of the Female Figure

As I reflect upon my years in the world of physical culture,  I observed the many trends in the socially accepted ideal female form.  Throughout the course of history, and I posit even prehistoric times, people define the ideal feminine beauty through specific body and facial characteristics, and symmetry of the face.

Many ancient cultures around the world have practiced the observation of goddess worship.  In many archaeological findings, small goddess figures were unearthed, such as the Vespugue and Willendorf during the Gravettian period, dating as far back as 25,000 BCE, as well as rock art portraying the feminine form as a deity.  It's no small wonder, also, that many societies are matrilineal, where law, order and property are controlled by the women of the tribe.  Modern times and modern religion have shifted to a more patrilineal society.  I think it is important to reflect upon our ancestors, history, and past to gain a better understanding of who we are today.

Venus of Vespuge

The unearthed goddess figurines tell a great story about what ancient peoples accepted as the ideal feminine beauty of the day.  You may be familiar with one of the most famous goddesses, Venus.  Venus has large, pendulous breasts, a small waist, and very wide, bountiful hips and buttocks.  She is also known as a fertility goddess, as she looks ripe for breeding.  Fast forward to modern times.  Our own history in the past 100 years has varied in extremes.  I was born in the late 60's, so Twiggy, the waifer thin model was in vogue.  I grew up in the 70's, in which running was all the craze. Then, we evolved into the bodybuilding era.  When I was a young girl, I began weight training at 13 years old, and learned that I was naturally very strong, so I just went with it.  Despite my slim, athletic body, at a height of 5'7 and a robust 145 pounds, I was inflicted by societal norms, and was always starving myself, trying to lose weight.  Despite the fact I ran and rode my bike everywhere, and swam and played all kinds of sports, I never was satisfied with my body--ever.  I also had this deep desire to get as strong as I could get, not only because I secretly fantasized about have a voluptuously muscular body (yes, it was a taboo body type at the time), but also because I knew strength would help me become a better athlete. And, I was right. I went to college on a volleyball scholarship.

Venus of Willendorf

And then, I had an epiphany.  I knew that strength was my beauty.  This was true beauty.  So, this concept drove me to keep training and getting stronger.  I started bodybuilding late in life, at the age of 35, but I was never more ready for it then.  It was time.  Time for me to unveil to the world what my innermost thoughts and desires to shape my body a specific way would look like on stage.

It was not just the competition that inspired me.  It was the complete metamorphoses of becoming.  Becoming my dream.  I photographed with the best photographers in the world.  Most importantly, I began subconsciously channeling my inner Goddess.  I began posing not as a bodybuilder, but as a Goddess.  As I posed, I let my inner spirit guide me.  And, so I have learned to listen to my inner feminine voice.  As women, we are often told to ignore our feminine natural ways and surrender to the male dominated world.  That never resonated with me.

Relaxed Goddess Pose, Pat Berrett, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Taking this new found energy, I became incredibly powerful beyond my imagination.  I always equated power and strength with the ideal feminine beauty.  And, as I became stronger, my body also became larger, more voluminous, robust, thicker.   This is where I identify with the goddess figures of the Gravettian period, and can begin to understand that ancient cultures respected and admired women that were full figured--a sure sign of strength and fertility.

As I observe recent trends, I am pleased to see that women of all ages are learning to embrace their own body type and feminine ideal.  You see it in media, particularly social media, where women routinely highlight what they perceive their best assets or beauty to the world.  Social media platforms are their stage, and they are motivating droves of women to engage in some sort of strength training or body shaping culture.

As I have lived through the flesh, blood, and skin of a woman, the most outstanding things about women are our abilities to change not only physically, but spiritually into who we want to truly become in our lives.  Observing and living through a half a century of life, I love being a master of my own body.

Gaston LaChaise, "Standing Woman"

Last summer, Joel Peter-Witkin asked me to model for him.  He is one of the most notable and collected photographers of our time.  I met him about twelve years ago in a coffee shop here in Albuquerque.  He immediately noticed my powerful, sensual physique and told me that one day, he would photograph me. What drew him to me, he told me during the shoot, was that he knew there was something not only physically beautiful about me, but something more, and that he had never seen a woman of my proportion and physicality.  He worked with the first lady of bodybuilding, Lisa Lyon, whom I was deeply inspired when I was a young girl.  As time has passed, I started out as the Lisa Lyon ideal body type, the long, lean, lithe sinewy cat-like body to becoming a power figure Goddess, more voluptuous, almost "LaChaise" like.

Amazon Geisha

I have tapped into my creativity in the kitchen in many ways after the first of the year, eating a more plant based diet, with less meat, dairy and other animal products.  I feel great, and have not lost any strength or size to speak of.  I simply think we have to find our own path in the world when it comes to diet, training, and overall health and wellness.  Once you find that magic formula for you, stick to it!  I will share some of my creative recipes with you from time to time.  My most intimate friends know I enjoy traveling the world, and studying bar tenders that hand craft their own cocktails with their own special liqueurs, spices, syrups, herbs, and fine spirits.  I have mainly been into tequila the past few years, but in this special cocktail, I was inspired by a bar in Mayfair, London, where they crafted a drink called, "The Geisha".  Now that I am shopping weekly at my local Asian market for ingredients for my stir frys and Tom Gha Gai soup, I am always stocked up on kaffir lime leaves, which are impossible to find in an ordinary super market.  Here is the recipe if you are inspired:

Amazon Geisha

Ingredients:

1/2 c coconut milk
1 tbs coconut cream
1 oz lime juice
4 shots vodka
2 shots Grand Marnier
1/4 c pineapples (more if you want it sweeter)
1 inch slice lemongrass
1 TBS grated ginger

Blend all ingredients in blender.  Pour into shaker glass, strain into chilled martini glass.  Garnish with Chinese 5-spice, and kaffir lime leaves. Serves two ordinary men--or one thirsty Amazon.

The Amazon Geisha is powerful, exotic, and intoxicatingly sweet--the perfect balance of a sensual cocktail transporting you to faraway lands.

Heather Vahn--"Porn as Art"

When I started my website, www.GoddessofFetish.com about six years ago, it went through many growing pains.  I am constantly trying to see what my fans enjoy and, most importantly, what I enjoy doing.  I also grappled with the question of being a "Muscle Goddess" doing solo and strictly girl/girl scenes to graduating into more femdom scenes, which included hardcore boy/girl scenes.  It's not that I was morally opposed to adult films or pornography but the question is how am I going to frame it for my audience?  My goals for all of my productions are to include a combination of strength/power (feat of strength, such as lifting someone overhead, with one arm, or some other crazy lift), sensuality, passion, reality, and sometimes, but not always, some sort of climax, or ending.

Traditional adult films typically show the man in control, but the nature of femdom is the exact opposite.  I always try to cater to my model's fantasies and desires, as this makes the scene and outcome so much more natural.  I recently filmed with a young lady in Las Vegas, Heather Vahn, and I have to say, she was one of the most charismatic performers I have ever worked with.  She talks about how she got her start in adult, and it was something she always wanted to do. Some people make art, some people make music, but Heather wanted to "do porn".  And, in many ways, the best reason to do something, and in my opinion, the only reason to do something is for the love of it.

I recently revamped the Goddess of Fetish website to include more behind-the-scenes, and human interest interviews.  I think there is value in developing this type of content for my fans and members.  Sure, I will still publish the clips of my brand of Amazon Erotica, but the most fun part of my life is understanding others desires and fantasies.  This is why, "Embracing and celebrating sensual feminine domination making fantasy a reality" is quite simply, my philosophy for not only my productions, but my lifestyle.

New Beginnings, 2016

Happy New Year!  I can't believe 2015 came and went so fast.  I think as we age, time seems to fly faster.  I have asked some of my older friends, and it is some sort of phenomena that it is true, as we age, it seems like time goes by faster.  I am sure someone well versed in quantum physics could explain better.

As I reflect upon 2015, it was a creative, somewhat lucid year for me.  It was a year of deep thinking and reflection for me.  It was a year of realizing all that I am--all that I have become in the world, and where am I going?  Who are my friends, lovers, and supporters?  Naturally, over time, when you just be who you are, without trying, the right people are attracted to you.  Call it what you will, laws of the Universe or laws of attraction, I believe strongly in this.  Buddhists state it best, about how your thoughts become words, action, habits, then finally your destiny.  So, just think about how your very thoughts, which are often daydreams, and even dreams at night become your destiny.  The power of the mind is that we can will ourselves to do anything we desire or want to become.

So, in wrapping up 2015, the documentary project was delayed slightly, but for good reason, and I know my Director of Photography, Xander and I will make it a stronger production.  We closed the year out with some strong interviews and direction.  I just have to redo my interview and then it will go to the editing bay for a final cut.  It has been a challenging journey along they way, and sometimes  the bumps in the road make something stronger, no matter how daunting or insurmountable something seems in the beginning.  Yet, the greatest challenge lies before us, and that will be the marketing and distribution strategy.  The most important thing is the world will get to see me in a light they have never seen.  I have had so many production companies and producers ask me for my story, and I have always been tempted to tell my story, but ultimately, balked, knowing that I never had full editorial control.  This is unsettling to me as mainstream and not so mainstream media always wants to sensationalize and objectify women of strength, particularly those that choose non standard narrative paths in life.  My intentions are to embrace my lifestyle and educate the viewer on my path leading up to becoming the "Goddess of Fetish".

Here's to 2016--may it bring new perspective and growth to us all, day by day.
